INTEGRATIVE CLINICAL INTERVENTIONS
Our Integrative Clinical Interventions are evidence-based mental health programs designed to support individuals living with chronic physical conditions.
Drawing from research-backed approaches, these programs address the psychological, emotional, and behavioral dimensions of long-term illness—because healing the body also means tending to the mind.
Each program is tailored to reduce distress, improve treatment adherence, enhance quality of life, and restore a sense of agency.
These interventions are delivered in close collaboration with medical doctors and a lifestyle medicine physician from The Lagoom Cliniques, allowing us to work hand in hand to support whole-person recovery. By aligning psychological care with medical and lifestyle interventions, we ensure a comprehensive, patient-centered approach.
Whether you're navigating fatigue, inflammation, hormonal imbalance, or post-treatment grief, our integrative pathways provide structured, compassionate support to help you live with greater ease, clarity, and connection.

1. Mindfulness-Based Pain Management (MBPM) for Chronic Pain
We support individuals living with chronic pain by addressing the emotional and psychological toll it carries. Inspired by a landmark multi-institutional study led by Penn State College of Medicine and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, we offer an 8-week integrative pathway that incorporates mindfulness-based practices and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals reclaim their quality of life.
This approach has been clinically shown to improve physical function, reduce pain intensity, and even decrease reliance on opioid medications—benefits that were sustained for up to 12 months in the original trial. Our compassionate therapists guide clients through mind-body regulation, pacing strategies, emotional resilience work, and trauma-informed care tailored to each individual’s story.

2. Psychosocial Oncology & Post-Traumatic Growth Support
At The Happiness Project, we understand that a cancer diagnosis affects more than the body—it reshapes identity, relationships, and one’s sense of meaning. Inspired by a scoping review of psychosocial oncology interventions that promote posttraumatic growth, we offer structured emotional support pathways designed to help patients and survivors not only cope but find purpose and strength through their experience.
Drawing from evidence-based models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), meaning-centered therapy, narrative and dignity therapy, our programs guide clients in processing grief, managing fear, and reconstructing hope. Whether you're navigating active treatment or life after remission, our integrative approach supports healing of the heart and mind—so that recovery is not just about survival, but transformation.
